Need help with stock headunit
So after reading on my.is and clublexus did not find a solution for the infamous CD player issues. At first the CD got stuck inside and the radio gave an ERROR 4 code, I opened it up (because nothing else worked) and took the CD out... after which the CD player does not even give a code. When I press the "disc" button nothing happens at all, it just stays in previous mode (AM, FM, or TAPE). Has anyone fixed it or knows what might be the cause? When I opened it up and extracted the CD the rails were not aligned correctly... but maybe that is not the reason.
Sure I know I can replace it with a double din and blah blah blah... but I want to keep the stock radio and I have a spare one which I wanted to experiment on (sadly the CD player does not work on it either
) Anyone know any solutions? Any help is appreciated
