I have 01 IS300, I accidently pull out the key when it still in middle of the OFF and ACC position, now I try to start the engine the key wont turn. I have try to spray W40 to turn and wiggle it and it still wont turn on the engine , any advice will be helpful

Same thing happened to my 01, something with the steering column and ignition.

Solutions that were suggested by my mechanic was to either, a) Get a locksmith to replace your ignition, he'll take it out piece by piece and replace the bad ones or b) get a new your steering column.

I mean that's what i believe he said.. lol.

if you need to tow your car and cant move it cause its in parked (P), open that little tab with the slit in the middle, the one you see next to the shifter, hold that down and then you'll be able to shift.
