Stock alarm makes no arming beep?
I have 2004 IS and I noticed when I press my lock button on my remote it doesn't beep. If I unlock it, it will beep twice like normal. But it will not beep when I try to press the lock button. If I have the headlights on and I press the lock button twice the lights don't turn off like they did before. This is a stock alarm with the stock key.
Any recommendations?

i do not pay attention much to beeping when i arm my car, so not sure about that. might be somewhere in owners manual. but for the headlights make sure its on the auto setting and after arming twice lights will go off

Before when my alarm beeped when I locked it, it didnt matter if my headlights were on auto setting. If I pressed the locked button twice and my headlights were on they turned off. I think its something with the alarm.

it is your door lock actuator that is causing the problem, the vehicle will not arm if it is unable to lock all the doors hence why you do not get the beep. If you manually lock the door then get out and hit your "lock" button it will beep once, but when you unlock your vehicle you will have to use your key to unlock the drivers door since your actuator is bad.
