12' rx450H - Problem with Speedometer and Hybrid Monitor
Hello!
I have 2012 RX450H, never had any issues, until this morning. While driving to work I noticed the car would start shaking when it was idle. After paying closer attention to both the speedometer and Hybrid Monitor ( not sure if thats the right name for it), I noticed that they didn't seem to be in sync. When I accelerated just a little the Hybrid Indicator would shoot up to POWER, and then never go back down to charge. Even if the car was just going 25- 30 mph it seemed that it was never in ECO mode, always in POWER. When I got to work I turned my car off, waited a few minutes and turned it back on, and even when IDLE the Hybrid Indicator sits at the CHARGE Line, between ECO, but never goes completely down. To me, it seems that its taking a lot of power just to go 30 mph, and it feels almost like the car is in the wrong gear. Also, the check engine light would flash on randomly, but then quickly go away.
I plan on going to the dealership this afternoon, but has anyone had any experience with this?

Please keep us posted, I'm interested in what your problem may be. I''ve experience nothing like this, although idle seems more "throaty" or deeper when the outdoor air temp is sub zero.
