Default Hybrid power mode

Hi all. I recently bought an 07 gs450h. Great car. I wanted to see if there would be any issues if I leave the hybrid power mode on all the time?

Does anyone know the pros and cons for driving with the hybrid power mode on all the time?

Also anyone try making something that can add to cooling the batteries in the rear like and air pipe routed to the rear for additional cooling? Just a thought.

Thank in advance.

I also have an 07 450h and I have left the hybrid power mode on ever since I bought the car. My hybrid battery failed at 109,000 miles but I have no idea whether or not that contributed to it.

Just out of curiosity, when your hybrid battery failed, did the dealer replace it for you under warranty? (assuming you are in California).
