i have GX470, and well... im locked out, but i have the key.
i dont know if anybody has encountered this issue but i cant get my door to open manually. i need to know if my battery i dead, the remote is fine as i changed the battery but my key hole wont work. any help on how to get inside besides busting a window?

try turning the key all the way to one side and holding it. it might roll down all the windows and allow you access.

i'm wondering how that worked out for the OP? my guess is he had to call a locksmith

I dont have the key anymore. my dad took it to houston to get it replaced. i have no idea when im getting it back. see my key way also broken but justso the casing. so when ever i get my key back ill see how that goes. in the mean time my car is moms.

I got a replacement housing off of eBay. You have to transfer the transmitter from the old housing (unless, like I did, you lost it when the housing broke). I have several left if you want to contact me, I could send you one. You'd still need to have the key cut since the housing comes complete with the blank (or, if it's in ok shape, you might be able to use your original).
