Default 120,000 on Lexus 2006 GS430.

Very few problems encountered still.

Bluetooth seems on the fritz, but I can ignore that. The flaking read view mirror irritates me in that my 1970 cougar's original 40+ years old still looks great vs these stupid cheap shoot toyota mirrors, but I've got a broadview mirror on it that works even better than the OEM mirror face.

Let a friend borrow it for a week and the idiot hit a pothole and dented the wheel, so that's being repaired. Other than that.....smooth sailing so far.

I had gone to the Lexus dealership a few months ago, and they were willing to give me 10k for it as a trade in for a new car, but weighting my costs, it'd make more sense to drive this thing into the ground. It still looks pretty beautiful, so I'm just not yet seeing the point.

I could easily get this thing to 300k without issues.

That's awesome! I know that the 430 was a very reliable engine...that's great to hear! I hope you make it to 300k...

Keep driving. I put 180 k on my 01 GS 430 before trading it in on an 09 GS 460. Never had any significant issues.

You make me sooo wish I'd gone the V8 route here. For years I was bragging on my Direct Injection V6 and its combination of fuel efficiency/power/low emissions but now I have apparently purchased the first engine in Lexus history to be an early oil burner. 88K and out.
Your old school 4.3 V8 may be the last of the 300K engines. Who knows what we are in for with the Direct Injection era.

She'll keep chugging right along! I plan to keep my '08 460 until the wheels fall off, which will probably be well past my time. My plan was the same with my '95 SC400, but she was hit by somebody who had a very, very important text.... I still have yet to hit 20k on my GS, so I'm sure she'll be on the road for a while

Ouch, I feel your pain with the SC. There is gorgeous, mint one a couple houses down from me, I think it's a 2000. No nicks or dings. He even upgraded the wheels to the 18" 5 spokes that go on our GS models. Looks fantastic, the stock wheels were the only thing I never really liked about the SC.
