exhaust tip loose..
So I noticed my passenger side stock exhaust tip is loose..on my last trip to the dealer, I figured I'd ask them to just tighten it. As it turns out, I must have scraped the pipe somehow..they're telling me that the pipe is actually a little bent/dented- so even if they were to replace the tip, it'd probably still shake and rattle..and the only way to really fix it would be to replace the entire system ($1,200+) which to me is just crazy to fix that one problem..especially with stock parts.
It's not really a big issue for me, just a tad bit annoying at times..at this point though, I might be considering just getting an aftermarket exhaust system. But I don't want anything loud or obnoxious. For those of you who have them, which exhaust would be the most subtle- sounding closest to stock? I've been hearing the tanabe medallion is pretty quiet but I'd really love to hear all of your opinions. I don't really have much experience when it comes to exhaust systems..only one I've had was the Apex'i N1..and that thing was like freaking snorlax! LOL! ahh...back when I was 16..and rolling in a civic hahaha but any input is greatly appreciated!

If you have a V6, most after market axle back systems may not change the volume of your car. However, on a V8, it's a totally different ball game. I had my Tanabe axle backs on it barely passed inspection.
I also had an Invidia mid pipe with resonator which I had to remove prior to inspection, so you can only imagine how loud my car is.. and if you can't. Here's a video.
NOTE: Tanabe axle back only is about 20% quieter than this:
