Really works!!
I was very skeptical as to whether this would work or not but happy to say it does!! I used a large paper clip. I stretched out and put one end in hole 4 and the other end in hole 13 then followed the instructions above. Great tip!

I had the ecb light on before I changed my brakes and it's still on after I changed my rotors and brakes, Is a reset all I need or should I be watching out for something else, just trying to be safe. debating if I should take it to the dealership or not,Thank you.

Go to e-bay and buy yourself something called "mini VCI" for ~$28, it will let you hook up your laptop and read out all DCTs (codes and lights) as well as teh sensor readings causing them - that should direct you where your problem is. you can also reset any codes, without paperclips while you touch your nose and spell your name backwards.

OMG! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
This worked for me too. My inboard pads were seized solid in my front calipers so I had to strip, clean, lube and replace them. Then I got these warnings. I nearly went to the stealership, but this saved my hide, pride and pocket"
Love you guys!

I just tried this because they just popped up on my dash after changing pads, rotors, and a brake fluid bleed, but when I tap the brakes CHECK pops back up for each one and the lights stay on.
maybe I disconnected something on accident? This is on an 06 GS430
