Default New Member with question about squeaks and rattles

Hi

I'm new to CL. I just bought a 2007 Gs 350 AWD with 34,000 about two months ago. I love the car but it has some unbelievable squeaks and rattles in the dashboard. I brought it back to the dealer and they said they fixed it but it still squeaks just as bad.

I've seen some other threads here on this subject but my question is does anybody have any advice in regards to documentation on this problem and what to tell the dealer to get it fixed correctly.

Its really annoying !!!

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Gary

Did they apply the TSB's that include a couple of "noise kits"? Just started to hear the creak and then made an appointment. I told the service adviser that I knew this was a common problem and I know they have TSB's and kits for the noise. He said they would drive it and determine which "faults" I had and apply the correct TSB's. I also had a cam gear TSB done for ticking at startup. They had the car for a week and all has been good since.

with the cold weather in your area, I'm not surprised.

stick a wedge of foam in the gap between the dash and windshield.
