E-shift not working after GTE swap
Hey everyone, I just did a GTE swap, and the e-shift no longer works.
The e-shift worked fine before I did the swap, and I have checked the wiring and everything that i can think of.
The ecu terminal labeled '3' gets battery voltage whenever I shift to M, and the shift up and shift down terminals at the ecu are outputting battery voltage. They switch to ground when the shift buttons are pressed.
Also the ECT PWR light blinks and VSC lights are on since I've done the swap. Could this prevent me from being able to use e-shift?
Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

The VSC lights are due to the US VSC/TRAC/ABS computer being incompatible with the GTE ECU, but I doubt that has much to do with the E-shift. The flashing ECT PWR light means there is something wrong with the transmission, which is likely why you are having trouble. You will need to figure out how to read the code to figure out what is going on.

Cool, thanks for the reply. You're right, the blinking ECT light was the cause of the problem. I reset the ecu and now the ECT light no longer blinks, and e-shift works!
