I checked the resistance on the OCV tonight. I pulled 9.6 ohms...I'm not sure what the specs are??? I found some specs under the 1st Gen RX thread a spec of 6.9-7.9...I wonder how different the solenoids are?

Anyone know what the ohm specs are for a 2nd Gen GS300 2JZ-GE

I know you said you checked for vacuum leaks. Did you pull off the hoses? I was having the same symptoms and one of my vacuum lines was clogged up. wouldn't hurt to change pcv valve also.

I would just replace it and see if it will solve your problem, u can always return the ocv if it doesent solve your problem....

Learned something new. Wow, I didn't know there was a filter screen on the OCV. I wonder if this requires any maintenance?

Hey bud, Have you checked the emission devices and hoses going to and from them?
Does your problem have any effect on hard acceleration (loss of power)? Does it happen when its cold or warm or both?
When you changed your throttle body, did you also change your throttle motor?

Things that affect the idle are -
- air leak after maf sensor
-maf sensor
- throttle control system (throttle body, motor ,TPS)
- lines going to and from the throttle area
- emission devices (pcv, charcoal canister, egr)
- possibly leaking injector
- ignition system weak

There maybe more but these are the ones I can think of right now
