Default OMFG, Hesitation STILL here and getting WORSE

'95 SC400, 126k miles.

Hesitation just after takeoff (at any decent pace) from stop...immediately after it starts to go the engine feels like it falls on its face - it's happened so bad a couple times I almost got hit by oncoming traffic (making a left turn). Also has a decent hesitation when applying light throttle while at speed.

I've SeaFoamed the **** out of the car, including gas tank/oil/vacuum line. I've replaced the spark plugs and wire with OEM straight from Lexus, as well as the fuel filter. I'ce cleaned the throttle body and cleaned the MAFs extremely thorough!

None of these 'mods' helped - in fact, the hesitation has gotten WORSE!

***********HERE'S the kicker - it DISAPPEARS when the MAFs is unplugged! Motor runs perfect! (except for not being able to idle with no MAFs)

PLEASE, if anyone has ANY clue, as to what might be causing this VERY annoying issue, SPEAKETH!

Cleaning a MAF does nothing or else we'd all clean our mafs instead of replacing them.

You need a new maf.

How old is your cap and rotor? Try replacing them if they are old. I replaced that in my car and alot of my hesistation went away. Well of course my car is turbocharged, and the other hesistation was from it being untuned. But none the less, replacing the cap and rotor helped alot. Getting a new MAF would be a good idea too.
