Try sticking your key in the drivers door and turn either left or right and hold it and activate the auto roll up and hold it all the way down or up. I think its like the sensor got off track on where it was. The key thing I guess resets it or whatnot.

Try, rolling it up then when its about to get to the top, push upward on the window at the same time and see if it stays. if it does, then there may be something on the track that is making it retract. I have that problem with my sunroof and when I do it by hand, it stays closed.

pinch sensor, something might be caught in the guide.

its basically a safety feature to prevent fingers or arms being caught.

take off inside door panel, and see if there is anyway to look at the guides. i had the same thing happen to before, from an audio install. they screwed in my cross overs onto my door, the screw was a tad long and caught something related to the window track. took out the screws and zap strapped everything, problem solved.
