Not sure if anyone else has had this problem but I live in Los Angeles with a 2014 GS and this entire week I have not been able to get real time traffic information on my Nav system. I haven't had any subscription changes other than Enform ending but I thought that has nothing to do with it.

I've also went into the submenu and turned off real time traffic and turned it back on but still have no luck. Any ideas?

I have the same issue, and any help would be appreciated. My nav uses "predictive traffic info" which, more often than not, is wrong, and not the same as real time traffic.

How long have you had it and is your XM traffic subscription current? As I recall, you get one year of traffic for free, then need to pay to subscribe after that. Did you subscription run out?

I think the 2014 has HD radio traffic. Maybe there's something in settings?

Nope, 2014 has XM traffic and u only got 1 yr, then u have to pay for it or it'll stop working.

On the GS that started on the 2015 models.

In that case, that means your XM Traffic has expired and needs to be renewed. It expires around the same time as Enform. Subscription wasn't too expensive when I renewed it on my 2013.

That makes sense. Picked up my 2015 GS in Los Angeles on Saturday and had not switched over my Sirius subscription yet from the trade. The NAV telling me about traffic 20 miles down the road-kind of eerie.

I've noticed it only works if you have a destination set. If you're just driving without a destination set, it won't tell you of any upcoming traffic. You'll have to go into the XM app to get the info.

That's correct. If you don't tell it where you're going, it can't tell you if there is traffic ahead on your route.

You should also have the red, yellow, or green lines on your map, so you can always zoom out and pan as needed to see ahead, if you don't have a destination set.

Waze app works the best for me in Southern CA.

It's a data hog though so make sure to shut it off when done using it.
