Arrow is it true: Trunk and driver door TSB??

is it really true that there is TSB for the trunk in the F sport model? I find it annoying to slammed the trunk every time I get some stuff out! and also I have the ML sound and the driver door rattle and noisy when loud on some music! I just got my car out from 5K service and did not mention anything about those issues. .. help ClubLexus members

A TSB means that Lexus has identified an issue with some cars and dealers will fix them at no charge. The number listed is the number of the TSB to take to the dealer so they can find it in their system. Some dealers may be aware of it, some may not. Hope that helps.

Is the TSB for the trunk lid just applicable for the F Sport Model or does it apply to all models of the 2013 GS350?

there is no TSB for the rattle caused by the ML system. you just have to let them know and ask them to insulate it with the anti-rattle thingy they use. i had it done and now i think it moved up to the aluminum trim piece on the door., i heard a rattle and pressed my elbow up against the trim piece and it stopped . taking her in tomorrow so i'll have everything done.

Well I noticed the rattle comes from the window switches for some reason (maybe I'm mistaken) I will try to figure it out tonight and take the car to the service on Friday to do the trunk too.

Yes that's actually where the problem was on the 3GS and it can be fixed with some felt.

dropped my baby off at Lexus this morning to address the TSB for the trunk and the interior trunk release (in case you fall in the trunk and the trunk slams on you, j/k) i also have them applying a high gloss powder coat to my wheels. i was given a satin cashmere 2013 ES350 as a loaner (that's all they had). the ride is even cushier than the previous ES models, the steering is ultra light and when you take your foot off the gas the engine speed decreases, you can feel a slight jerk when you release the gas instead of the car gradually slowing down. the ride felt strange... maybe because i'm used to driving the GS.

Wish Lexus admit the mistake making the 4GS without the power trunk and release a TSB to upgrade US 4GS to power trunk.....
