Clear bra or not on leased GS?
Just leased a 2014 GS350 via a 27 month lease. We are 99% sure we will not keep the car past the lease. We are hoping the GS-F will be out within a couple of years and then would move to purchase a GS-F.
With that in mind, is it worth spending the $600 or so on a clear bra for a leased vehicle? When we turn the car in, does Lexus consider chips on the bumper part of normal wear and tear?
Thank you for your input.

If I were you, I wouldn't. I don't like clear bra for a different reason but 27 will go by pretty fast. Just don't tail gate people and stay away from the trucks. I would prob use the money to do a coating. Your car is white so I'm not sure if a coating would give you much benefit though. Your car looks good BTW. Congrats!.

I have a clear bra on mine and its a lease (36 months though). It all depends, it WILL chip without it. On a light color, the chipping looks especially bad because its black underneath. Is that going to bother you? It bothered me, which is why I got the clear bra.
If its not going to bother you then don't worry about it. Normal wear and tear.

I put one on my leased BMW...I know it is a lease but I hate seeing rock chips and I do a lot of highway driving. I also may keep the BMW after the lease so even more reason to do it.

It all comes down to whether the chips will bug you. It was worth the money to me, lease or not.

I opti-coated and put a xpel ultimate on the bumper on my 36 mo lease, though I am strongly considering purchasing off the lease. I may still do a clear bra on the hood and fenders...

I change cars every 3 years and I've had a clear bra on my last 4 cars. Yes it's a lease but I still want to enjoy it while it's in my possession which is why it has tinted windows. I hate rock chips, scratches etc. so I try to minimize that stuff.
You also pay for wear and tear on a lease so it's not like you can beat the crap out of the car and turn it end at the end without penalty.
