Gas tank rattle
So I put a sub in the trunk to add to the bass and overall sound system. Just wondering if anyone has come up with a solution to the gas tank rattle?
Besides turning the music off
Thanks!

Lead Lap
The actual tank, or the opening where the gas is put in?

did you dynamat your trunk, and trunk lid. or you can fabricate a couple of pieces of dynamat and put them around the edges of your gas door.

yes i had the LP rattle. i actually applied dynamat to the back of the plate myself... no more rattle. dynamat actually sells a LP frame that's anti rattle, i don't remember the price but it's not expensive.

Open the gas door, you will see four bolts on the gas door. Cut 3/4" squares of dynamat and place over these screws. Shut the gas door. Repeat this process until you can barley get the gas door to do a full latch (you'll know if it's half latch because the first big bass note the door will swing open) this will completely eliminate the problem for about $5

Can anyone post pictures of where they placed the dynamat on the gas tank door?
My installers were saying if it rains and the water gets behind the cap from dripping it will affect the dynamat and will drip down my car?
