anyone familiar with this recall on lexus IS CS GS model？

I didn't get gas!!!

 

this recall has been out for months along with the wiper nuts. i didn't get a free tank of gas.

 

I went in to get both the wipers and trunk done. The first time they said they didn't have the fix yet for the wipers so they just did the trunk fix and gave me a tank of gas. Then a week later I got the recall in the mail regarding the wipers and went in and again got another tank of gas, always making sure I was close to empty each time

 

Went to the wrong dealership then if you didnt get gas

 

I got a recall letter 10 days ago and took my F to the dealer last Weds, i didn"t say anything and the tank of gas was full after the car done.

 

If I bought my 08 in Sept should I be on the lookout for a notice in the mail?

 

Wait a minute here, what are you guys talking about? i did receive my recall notice about the wiper nut but what is this about the trunk release? Can someone elaborate more and what is this about free gas? Is this a inconvenience gesture by Lexus?

the trunk recall is due to the material they used for the original trunk release if you got locked in your trunk would break if you tried to open it from the inside so the new one glows brighter and wouldnt break and also the wiper nut recall on oall is's is due to someone last year using their wipers when they were frozen to the windshield and freeing them up but it rained and on the fast setting they flew off. you should definitely get a free tank of gas unless you go in with a full one
