Here's the real question: do YOU like it? If so, keep it there! I can definitely see the pluses to having it there. Would I personally do it? Nah, not for me.

I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. We will see how it goes. It replaced a 9.7" iPad previously.

I was thinking of doing this but with an ipad mini. Use it only to stream music instead of using my iphone.

you will be blocking your climate control buttons and the hazard. when needed you will have to take out the IPAD every time. If you do not mind doing so, and you like it really all comes down to your preference. If you are going to keep the IPAD like that, do not leave in your car. Should always got to take it in and out.

I am using the below. Just connect to Bluetooth dongle using your phone and listen to your phone's audio through your car.

Hahahha. That is when I got it in the mail and it was pretty much dead. I have it wired in to always charge now.
