Help! Tansmission and idle issues
Hi all, new to Lexus but not to cars and forums ... great board here.
I have a 2000 gs300 with 186,000 miles having some issues. It began with a slight jerking when the transmission was in reverse, like backing out of a parking spot. It's progressed to hard shifting and feeling like it's hunting for gears all the time now. Other symptoms are that when I lift my foot off the gas cruising down the road, the RPMs drop significantly. And when I come to a complete stop the RPMs drop way down to about 300 (not a typo). All of this started happening about the same time.
Car has recent tune up and fluids changed. All fluids look clean and full. Hoping you guys with more knowledge of Lexus and their quirks might have some suggestions on things to check? I DID do some searching but didn't find much with a combo of these issues. Thanks!

AAMCO Transmission check your trasmission for free. So, go to one of your local area to see what is your issue with it. If the thech tell you that need to repair all the transmission? Go to another trans. place for second opinion. I hope and you not need to spend to much $$$ on it.
