Hi All,

Got a problem with my GS.

My E-brake / Handbrake light stays illuminated ,This is only happening once every 2-3weeks , it also goes off if i stop somewhere then restart the car.

I've also noticed that if i engage the e-brake / handbrake it illuminates brighter and when i disengage it the light goes dimmer.

I've checked my brake fluid and thats at the correct level.

I've also got LED Tails , I've read somewhere that they can sometimes make the light come on.

Any ideas on what the cause of this issue could be.

sometimes the spring on the ebrake gets old that it loses its strength to push back the paddle, try manual pulling the the paddle up and see if that works. that was my problem when i had the light always on after releasing the ebrake.
