Actuator Motor Changed..unlock locks car lock unlocks car working opposite backwards
Whats wrong?
I have all 4 doors done by a friend.. when push the unlock button all 4 doors lock
(on remote and master control on driver and passenger side) and they unlock when you push lock..
And as all of our remotes with the first press of unlock, only unlock the drivers door then with the second press it unlocks all doors, it's exactly opposite lol.. so when I unlock it locks drivers door, then when I push unlock again it unlocks all doors..
What could be causing this on all 4 doors?
I'm thinking its wrong motor used or reversed polarity on motors...or do you think its programming?
Motor is basically working in reverse..
closest thing I see also with no solution posted is:

Appreciate your help.

The mabushi motors I used only had one set of tabs so they would only have polarity in one direction, but I have seen some that had tabs at 180* which would run backwards. But it could be programming too. Did you try just resetting the battery ? Or using the key in the doorhandle to lock and unlock the car ?

looking at the spec sheet in the actuator sticky...http://www.mabuchi-motor.co.jp/cgi-b..._ID=fc_280pcsc
I'm thinking the rotation on the motors they used are opposite of what it needs to be..
but any one have any other thoughts on what could be the issue here?
