Default strange power lock/unlock issue

so i attempted to fix a friends pass. front lock actuator today. i had an extra motor from when I repaired mine. everything went smoothly, except when i press "lock" on the driver's door (or key fob), all doors lock but the pass front door unlocks. When i press "unlock" on the driver's door (or fob) all doors unlock but the pass front door locks. i took everything back apart and verified the install. if you have done the DIY before, you know that the motor only has terminals on one side, so the motor can't be reversed. any ideas? my first thought is a defective motor.

it seems to be viral, everyone (including my door lock actuator has been going bad later)

it might be a defective motor, they seem to be pretty cheap if you find them on ebay.

keep in mind even with the lock failing, it still attempts to lock, in your case it sounds like its not working period.

No it works fine. It just works backwards. Lock actually unlocks and unlock actually locks. Only the motor that was replaced. I'm still leaning towards a defective motor (internals installed incorrectly).

Try this. might be the easiest way to solve it, short of changing the motor again.
