ETCS-i playing with me .. Help Help !
Heelloo Everyone,
My ETCS-i (Electronic Throttle/Traction Controls System - Intelligent)
is playing around with me.. !
(2jzgte vvti) JDM --> ARISTO
When i raise the boost above 0.8 bar... the ETCS-i retards my throttle restricting power.. BBIIGG TIME.. then seconds later.. allows it to flow normally ( i can provide Dyno chart )! its pissin me off big time.. i opened the throttle and tryed to weld that pin in a way that it wont restrict or retard the throttle when a signal from the ECU is given.. ! but the background of that pin is plastic.. if i try welding it.. i will melt it big time. !
PLEASE help is needed.. i even just installed a new piggy back ECU and wired it. but my power is the same.. because of this Too Intelligent Throttle !

i am using the new MAPECU-II... ! connected as a piggy back and Not Standalone manner ! even befor this ECU i was using The Apexi SafcII and was still doing the same thing !
but the tuner that i took my car too is very very good and i am sure he is aware of the boost cut limit on my factory ECU !
you really think it can be the boost cut ????
because i had the boost cut from befor.. and the boost cut was very agressive (Sudden Stop)... ! but this one.. is only retards the Throttle ( i lose some boost+ power) seconds later.. hits full boost again !

U might be hitting boost cut. What else besides Map Ecu do you have? That alone will not remove boost cut, it will only adjust your AFRs

Well... There is not sound at all.. and the car runs totaly normal.. !
its jst when the Throttle is retarded you feel the car kindof die a little bit (power wise).. its not sudden.. no lights flashing.. nothing.. ! infact probably passengers wont even notice it if they are with me in the car !
about boost cut.. i mentioned that above.. i had a boost cut from befor and its nothing like this.. boost cut is a sudden cut or am i mixing the boost cut with a Fuel Cut ??? correct me please
.... .. this is soo gradual.. that a non detailed person would never feel it !
about MAPECU. its says that.. it does handle the boost cut.. speed cut as well as fuel cut... !
i have nothing besides the MAPECUII..!
ill double check in the manual again. but i am pretty sure.. !

Doesnt look like OP has been active in a while, but i have this EXACT same problem, found it on the dyno as well. Anyone have any ideas to a solution for it?
My problem is the same, im running a 2jzvvti aristo motor, aristo ecu, a BCC and stock automatic transmission.
