how to troubleshoot blown horn?
anyone know about horns in the 2GS? my air horn is blow. i checked the fuse and it looks ok from what i can see. the stock horn still works cuz i set off the panic alarm on the stock fob and i could hear the horn.
when i push the center of the steering wheel, i hear nothing. no click, no horn. the air horn (aftermarket) no longer works.
any tips on how to troubleshoot this?
or any idea of how much it would cost to replace the horn?
i can't pass state inspection w/o a working horn.
advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

The security sounder is another horn. Usually the problem with the main horn is poor contact of the ring (since stearing needs to be spun while driving). The right solution is to remove the steering and reshape the contacts. ... If you try to reshape the metal with the steering on, it usually makes the things worse.
