Hi! Everybody....
I have a question for you guys....
I generally don't like the everything-clear tail lamps...
The other day I saw a silver Ford Focus fully modified with black painted tail lamps... It looks really nice... so I kind of mess around with the photo of my car to see what the estimated looks will be...
Hope you guys will give suggestions.
Thankx...

Naaaaah.... Looks too domesticky. Go with the red film upgrade or the 2001 taillight switch. It would look a lot better with the color of your car... If your GS was black, then maybe....

Hey, if you black out the taillights, don't forget to black out the headlights, too. That way, no one will see you coming or going...or stopping. Can you say "pimple faced teenaged Mustang owner?"

Hahaha!!! I think I'll just forget about the black tail lamp... I was thinking that I have to either go with all clear all around... or paint it black all around, but that would ultimately lessen the brightnes of the HID system.... Thanks everybody for the input...

ivc,
I'm with MrHorse, I think it looks pretty good. The main thing is how you think it looks. You will never please everyone, so stick with what you like. If you need proof of this, please refer to the post regarding the interior design of the GS.
Also, what happened to the usual civility shown on this board? I'm pretty sure it's still OK to just tell someone that you do/don't like something without resorting to name calling... kinda brings us down to the same level as other boards I've been on.
Just my two cents...
Eric

Good discussions.... I'm glad I registered....
I just want more input.... I'm myself was still not sure what I want, since painting also needs a little of skill to get it evenly and nice... that's also one of my obstacle.... I've seen some people painted their lights, but when the lights came on, I can see immediately the unevenness of the paint... that's bad....

Steve @ Carsons just told me they're 340 shipped. Thats not expensive at all.... You should go this route... keep the car looking stock (classy) not **** off manray . That way you won't run into any problems like runs in the paint or peeling red/black film. Right now I'm using the red film upgrade, which is better than stock. But I still want the 2001 taillights. The red film upgrade looks good, you can't even tell that it's on there unless you look really close.
I've had people come up to me and ask me what year my GS4 was cause they didn't know.
Here's what it'll look like on your car....
