Strange Organe warning lite on ?
Hi everyone,
I need a helping hand here while I am on business trip.
This orange warning light of my GS starts to show up in the
gauge cluster panel a few days ago.
It is the second one from the left bottom row .
(a car symbol with some back light indicator mark)
It only turns on when the driving lights or headlite is in
on position.
I have check all back lights and found no problem of them.
What does this warning lite indicate ?
Thanks

Have you check the brake light which has two filaments in the bulb. Have someone look at the brake light as you turn on the headlight and depress the brake. I think you may also be a problem with the wedge bulb also? Not sure. Might as well check the front bulbs.

Mine is on right now and it's the middle 3rd brake light that's dead. No biggie since I have the 3rd brake light on my spoiler.
Have someone step on the brake light and see what's not lighting up. Make sure you also turn on the headlights to see if other bulbs are burnt.
Nice drawing btw

i have the same light, its the tail brake light, the cricle ones on the trunk (gs300-2nd gen) i changed it and it burned again within few minutes, do you have to put the bulb in the right way or something, i mean my fit fine, and it worked for few minutes (30min) and then the orange warning light came up, so i stop and told my friend to check while i hit the brakes, and he says its out, a short somewhere?, no clue..

Rear light bulb is out !
Thanks again !
You guys are right about it.
The passenger side rear big bulb is either has
bad contact or completely out.
Does anyone happen to know the bulb type number
for replacement ?
How can I replace the bulb ?
Is there a DIY in our Forum ?
Do I have to take the whole light uinit out completely ?
My cargo net screw nut is keep me away from reaching in !

sorry to say, you have to pop out the whole tail light assymbly to change the bulb or bulbs. you might as well change all the bulbs while your at it.
go to pep boys or kragen and show them your blown one and they'll match it. i think the owners manual will have the bulb number also.

Thanks for your replies.
Guess What ?
It was not very hard to fix it afterall.
(he ! I could not take off the cargo net nut after 15 minutes)
I did have it fixed without poping the whole assembly out.
It took a couple of direct knock to put the warning light away.
The root cause: a loose contact of the light bulb.
Quick fix : not a fix at all--cost me nothing.
[Correct of action to avoid it from happening again]:
slow the drving speed down when driving through the
speed bumps on the road. Every bumps does count
in the long run.
Thanks for your replies.
