Should I swap to a Auto Supra diff housing???
I have a 1st gen gs300 with a V160 6 speed. And I'm trying to figure out the best option for what i have available to me. Obviously i have the stock diff and pumpkin that came on the car. I also have a automatic(I think) mk4 supra diff and pumpkin.
The part number is 41110-14H06 .
Now which ever housing I end up using I will be buying os giken diff.
So I s there a clear cut winner on which housing to use?
Is the supra diff bigger or stronger?
Can I use the gs300 axles if I decide to use the supra diff?
Will it even physically bolt up without modification?
I'm not worried about the driveshaft flange.
Thanks in advance.

If you are running the v160 id get the matching diff from the 6spd Supra. It will fit and is beefier than all the rest and your flanges will match up with aftermarket driveshafts if needed. I think if you go that route you'll need the matching axles which bolt in to the hubs.

I just hope the 3.76 ratio won't be revving the engine too high in 6th on the freeway.
