LSD rear end
I was looking at a few options. I know a lot of people on here have done different things..
First off is the rear dif on our Sc300's the same as the MKIV Turob SUpra's? I found on Ebay a Torsen LSD (JDM) would that be a direct placemnt into our difs?
Would it be better tog get a 6-speed speed MKIV Supra turbo Rear dif?
Are the Auto turbo Supra 93-98 LSD, some non?
ALso how much would it be to have a LSD placed into our difs? DO they make LSD for the SC00 or is the MKIV Supra the same one? Thanks!

Scxxx does not come with an LSD but u can take the lsd from an auto mk4 supra tt and it will bolt right in. if u want to use the lsd from a manual mk4 supra tt u can but ur gonna need to get a rear end from an mk4 supra tt. And it would also make sense if u had a six speed tranny

So the mkiv auto turbo has a different rear end then the six speed rear End or is the insides different . So the torsen LSD from a supra tt won't work in my pumpkin.. ;( can I just get a auto tt supra pumpkin will work no mods?

not trying to thread jack but i have a question??
i have heard from some that the mk3 turbo lsd internals can be swapped into the manual sc300 differential... but i have yet to see it...smh.. and i also heard from others that it's not possible.
but then again i have seen them swap it into a is300 diff but that also brings up another question is the is300 diff interchangeable in the sc300?
to be honest i dont care if it needs modifications to work i just want to know if it can be down

That is fine to thread jack and interwine ideas and questions and help everyone gain more knowledge. I'd like to get a hold of a led to swap it into my '95 Sc. My car is a original manual so is q auto df different then a manual?

-im pretty sure that with the 6 speed diff u also need the axles and rear frame mount, and also the 6 speed insides will not fit in any sc diff...
-the supra tt auto diff will bolt right up...
- as far as mk3 diff going into an sc300 diff never heard of it...dont think it would work
- is300 might fit but im sure u'd need the frame mount as well...
dont take this for gospel either this is just what i remember reading somewhere on here in a nother threAD.. good luck guys im sure if you all search there will be answers out there for ya.

Okay so I am doing a little research. I think one reason why the 6-speed rear dif insides wont mate up is because the LSD is a 12 bolt to the gear, and the Auto TT is a 10 bolt. I am not 100% sure but it looks like that is what I am finding from pictures.
If anyone has a Auto TT LSD and wants to sell it let me know.
-----------------------------
Edit.
From the looks of it. If you got both gears and a LSD, you could possibly swap it into a SC300 DIF casing.. You'd need everything. Also want to check on bearing sizes. A 6-speed LSD will not fit in our pumpkin, maybe I should figure out what a whole 6-speed rear dif complete costs.

I have a GS300 diff in mine although its stuffed with a KAAZ 2-Way. Bolted right in. driving it within two hours. I wanted to swap it out with no down time.
Just giving ideas for carriers.
