COMPLETELY TURN KEY - Fully built motor.
Fully Blueprinted and Balanced. Clearances double checked everywhere.
Timing has ALREADY been set. This was fully checked with the Cam Card and multiple phone calls with the camshaft manufacturer to verify and optimize the correct degree with scope.
I am only selling this engine because I have decided to part out my car. This is truly the crown jewel of the car. You'll be getting something with a tremendous amount of time and thought invested with planning and building it. This engine has seen ZERO miles and has been on an engine stand just waiting to be run. The amount of detail and planning on this engine was crazy. I think there was about 6 months of research just planning it. What I tried to do was set out to build the most Reliable, Thoughtful Efficient Street 2JZ that I could. If I could do it all over again, I would do it EXACTLY the same way.

Bore and precision hone to with deck plate attached and torqued to spec
Micro polish crankshaft
Deck cylinder block
Total Seal tension oil rings
Measure all internal bearing clearances and adjust
Dissassemble oil pump, clean, port for extra flow reassemble
Assembly of short block and lower pan assembly, oil pump and pick up etc.
Includes final confirmation of all clearances, precision gapping of rings, installation of main studs, final cleaning of all parts, installation of rings to pistons with FRP gap alignment, super clean assembly, torque all fasteners, set rod bolts with stretch gauge
Installed Headgames cylinder head, installed water pump, installed cams and cam drive pulleys, timing belt, crank trigger, degree cams set exhaust pulley for exhaust centerline of xxxx degrees / intake variable,
installed crank damper and re-set damper assembly bolts with lock tite, installed valve covers- s plugs etc....

Details and Backstory
The core is a JDM 2JZ-GTE VVTI Engine. If you're wondering why VVTI, well, its for a variety of reasons most notably including earlier spool up and smoother operation. The 2JZGTE VVTI engine was the updated engine given to Supras in Japan upto 2002. Most good standalones like the ProEFI can control VVTI with no problems. Pretty simple to setup.
The Head was shipped off to HEADGAMES where it was fully done up by David (owner of Headgames). There was a lot of planning and reasoning behind the direction that was taken. Things like Beehive springs were on purpose for a variety of reasons. I spared no expense when I built this motor. When the head was completed with its Pocket port job, shimless buckets, and all the Ferrea goodies, it was shipped directly to my engine builder in Missouri.
The engine builder is extremely meticulous which is partly the reason I chose him. I needed someone to match my OCD on engine building details =).
His name is Jeff Gerner and owns Four Rings Performance. The amount of detail and time that went into this engine build was amazing. I have an incredible amount of pictures documenting everything on this build which I'm going to post below this. You can see more about the ENTIRE build on this engine on my build thread for reference. This motor is extremely well documented. The camshafts were degreed and scoped to verify.
Leak down test done on all cylinders and passed with flying colors. For more information about that you can call me and I will explain to you how that was done with more details.
Rings were spec'd properly for both Pump or Race Gas and E85 use. The Pistons are custom Special Induction Performance spec'd pistons. They are JE Assymetrical 10:1 High Compression Pistons .20 Over w/Upgraded Pins with options. Pictures below for details. Under the direction of Victor and Alpha, I commissioned these to be made for me. They are amazing with the amount of technology in them.
This was to be the Ultimate Street Engine. The criteria for the engine build in order of Priority was 1) RELIABILITY and STRENGTH, 2) 100% Streetable 3) POWER. I had it built with the intention and direction that I would never sell the car and that the motor should be very reliable. It should be noted that due to my power goal and the list of my priorities, I had purposefully decided not to do the billet main caps. This was not due to cost since I've obviously spared no expense. The intention of this engine was not to exceed past the efficiency of what could be done effectively on the street. There are a number of reasons why I did this. For more information on why, you can call me and I'd be more than happy to discuss this. Whoever gets this motor I truly believe will be very happy.
Price: $11.5K Picked UP in New York, $12.5K Shipped
I've consulted with a few Supra owners and shop owners, Pricing is extremely fair... There's a ton of labor that is NOT to added into your price. I will consider that a loss. I just want it all to go in one piece, so the majority of that is not being added to my price. Someone is truly going to get a GREAT GREAT motor that would have taken them months to build along with a much cheaper price than if they were to build it themselves.

I know, it sucks. Well, I just hope it goes to a happy home. I spent a ton of energy on the car and engine... but now its time to part ways. Sigh. Oh well, i'm looking forward to the future ! Thanks for the luck, I'm sure whoever gets this engine will be very happy. Thanks....
