Charging the Internal battery like a plug in
Anybody out there have a clue on if we can charge the internal battery on our ES300h like a plug in. Usually when I get home my battery meter is about less than half full, I was wondering is there a way to charge the battery to almost full while you are at home before you drive out. I remember back in the days we use to have battery jumpers in the form of cigarette lighter to cigarette lighter which helped charge a battery thats dead. I wonder if that is a possibiity or maybe there is a more direct way of charging the internal battery.
Thanks!
Thanks!

It is not possible with its current design - modification and a special charger would be required. Some Toyota vehicles like the PRIUS have had external battery packs and chargers designed for them by third-party manufacturers. They are very expensive and not cost-effective.
Without an external battery pack, the added power would not be sufficient enough to make a difference in fuel economy for the trouble involved. A fully charged battery does not propel the vehicle that far.
