Default AGM battery

Has anyone put in an AGM battery? Does the computer know and charge it at the higher, appropriate voltage? Or is the computer unaware and just leaves it always partially charged?

AFAIK, it gets charged like a regular battery. As I stated in the link, I use a Bosch AGM, Group 24.

An AGM battery should be fine as it is current that charges the battery not voltage. Well, as long as the voltage is above the minimum charge density. As you know AGM batteries hover around 12.95v to 13.00v fully charged. If the vehicle detects a load it will up the voltage into the 13.5v range pretty easy.
