Now that I am serious about tracking down a color in the UL Package, the multiple dealerships that I have spoken to are telling me that the UL's are hard to come by and they are not making them like they used to.

What the heck is this all about? They tease everyone with the Ultimate Luxury Package, manufacturer it for a couple months and then pull it. I just don't get the reasoning behind it. Bad enough the residual percentage on a lease went down to 58% from 60%. (I was told this will make a difference of 30-40 dollars in the payment.)

Fortunately, there happens to be one UL in the color I want (my second choice in interior, though) docking on the 30th and due to be delivered to my local dealership on August 5th. I guess I better get in there and put my name on it.

My Lexus dealer told me the same thing about the UL Edition.........about 90% of ES350's shipped to their dealership are NOT the UL Edition, and since they're so scarce other dealers don't want to exchange them. I'm sure this trend will change after a few months.

Your dealer should be able to claim that car under their allocation. Make sure you give him a deposit and claim that car!!!

I couldn't imagine NOT owning the ES 350 without anything but the UL package.

I disaggree. I bought a premium plus package with MSRP $41344. I have everything the UL package has except Mark Levingston, Extra sunroof (not needed), sport wheels(not needed)and back up camera. I'd like to have ML and back up camera but not for $3000. I'm not even sure I need some of the other plus options but did for resale. I was told by my dealer that most cars comming into america are the $40,289 and $37,170 packages.

I was thinking the same about the Mark Levinson when I decided between UL and PP. Now, I won't trade it for anything. It doesn't just have the Rear Cam.

Because I paid less than what you paid for a PP on my UL, so considering that I get M.L and Rear Sunroof for free?

The only option missing from my UL Edition is the Radar Cruise Control. I was wondering if anybody has seen this option in any package? My dealer told me that this is a special package that has to be specially ordered from the factory.....and it won't be available for at least a few months.

Am I to understand that you are saying that you got a UL car and it didn't have the backup camera??????

I have the PP package with Nav, HIDs and the rear seat side airbags and couldn't be happier. The ML audio would have been nice, but that's the only thing in the UL package that has any appeal to me. $38,900 plus tax meant the price was right.

I think I was confused that the Navigation and Mark Levinson are one and the same when I said "it <M.L> doesn't just have rear cam.."
