Front seat removal, advice needed please !
Hey guys,
So basically what I'm going to do is a full interior clean ( carpets, headliner, etc. ) and I want to remove my front passenger and driver seats. ( 3ES 1999 )
Now, I know how that I have to remove the 4 bolts and the disconnect the wiring harness, but should I be worried about the side airbags ? should I disconnect the battery terminals prior to disconnecting the wiring harness ?
Any advice would be good
Thanks !

Disconnect the battery and wait a good 15 mins for the airbag computer to loose memory before disconnecting the connector under the seat.
Have the battery disconnected when reinstalling, making sure the connections are clean and tight. Don't start the car without the seat airbags or it will throw an airbag light.

Thanks guys !
I'm off to my local Lexus dealer tomorrow to see if I can claim lifetime warranty on the window tint as it is peeling and the car came a certificate of lifetime warranty on window tint !
Maybe I'll post some before and after pics of how the clean went !
