DVD Bypass question
Hello all,
I have installed the Beat-Sonic NDS6223EP bypass module. I followed the video instructions, and didn't run into any problems during the installation.
For those of you who have it, I wanted your opinion.
-- My experience: It plays DVD with image, while car stationary, but blue screen when moving. When I activate the module (volume: up down up down), the image comes back, until the 3 - 4 minute expires, then DVD image does blank.
Does that sound right? I envisioned that the DVD image would always show, regardless of motion or not.
Thanks,
Richard

Update:
Spoke to Beat-Sonic rep. My 16' ES 350 monitors both parking brake and GPS as safety lock outs. To watch a DVD in motion, I would have to activate the GPS bypass module.
I still like the bypass feature and intend to keep it. It'll be fine to turn off Nav on those 100+ mile stretches of interstate, long enough for passenger to watch his/her movie. Everything else works as advertised.
