Default Burning DVD - beatsonic installed

Just tried to burn a DVD+R disc full of music videos to watch in my car on long drives. I have the beat sonic installed and can watch DVD's.
When I popped the disc in the nav screen said "no music files found"
Has anyone tried to do anything similar and found success?
Perhaps it did not work ibecause i used both .mp4's and .avi files?
Or the type of blank DVD?
I have an older macbook and I right clicked the files and hit "burn to disc" - i did not get to select a format in which to burn the files.

Any insight is welcome.

You have to burn the videos as a DVD book type, meaning it needs the exact file structure as you would find in a regular DVD. I don't believe Lexus system can read .mp4 or .avi video files directly. You would probably need to convert all your videos to DVD file type.

Thanks, that's what I figured. Now i just need to find a third party software on my mac and re-burn.
Will update in another day or two on how it went. Cheers!

Roxio makes the kind of software you need but I think it's available for Mac OSX.
