Default 99 ES300 Door not closing after regulator replaced

I just replaced the front driver side regulator in my 1999 ES300 but I can not close the door without the glass catching on the top (pic 1). I tried adjusting the glass but having hard time getting it right.. I tried adjusting where the regulator attaches to the glass with three nuts (pic 2). I can close the door from the outside if I push the door down little bit.
Can someone please advice where and how the adjustment should be made. Should I be adjusting the nuts on the bottom (pic 3). Thanks

Thanks for posting after finding a solution. I actually just replaced my drivers side window regulator, and motor today as well, with the same issue. How exactly does that bolt work? Does it lower the window after the adjustments are made on the 3 bolts holding the window in place?

Thanks,
Jordan

I am glad to see that it helped someone it took me a long time to find the answer the question. I didn't want anyone else to go through the pain.
Jordan95 did you mange to figure out how it works? It has been a while since I adjust it but maybe ProfPlum can explain better.

I've been waiting on a part for the door handle, so I haven't made the adjustment yet. I will and report back.

But just looking it appears that this bolt allows you to simply adjust how high the yellow stop attached to the glass frame can go up.

EDIT*** - So I adjusted it today and the windows closes maybe 1mm lower now, which is perfect. It's important to know that there are 2 adjustment bolts, not just the one circled. That makes sense because there are 2 yellow stops on the window glass - 1 front and 1 rear.

After I adjusted the front one, my window was now too high towards the rear of the car, so I had to adjust both. Bolt is a 12mm.

Because I already had window regulator replacement videos on Youtube, I created a new one as a follow up for this additional info, since I consider it crucial.

Here's the link, if you are interested. Sorry for not giving you props by name in my video LexInFL, I couldn't recall your moniker as I was shooting, but you certainly deserve the credit.

Thanks for posting the video and no problem about not mentioning me. I did't even know about the other adjustment bolt.

Folks,

Going through the same window adjustment problem on my 98 es300. After playing with the stop adjustments, the glass does not hit the lip anymore but it doesn't seal properly and so I have wind noise while driving. Looks like I need to somehow adjust the lean/tilt of the upper end of the window. I found the below for SS430 but those adjustments don't seem to apply for ES300. Anyone knows how to adjust the lean/tilt (Like shown in the below pic) for ES so the glass seals properly to the rubber. If I press in hard on the upper glass while rolling the window up, it seems to close properly. So looks like I need to adjust so the upper end leans towards the car. Not able to figure out how to do that. Any advice/suggestions?

These frameless windows are pain in the neck, have been struggling for 3 days now

Thanks

ok, I now know how to adjust the tilt/lean of the window so it seals properly to the rubber gasket. It is the white plastic **** on the lower regulator bolt (shown in the below picture) that makes the window tilt in/out. Turn it anti-clockwise to lean inwards and clockwise to lean outward. This is actually the main adjustment when you change the regulator. You most likely don't even have to mess with the stopper adjustments as you don't touch those when you remove the regulator.
Just mark the position of the white **** on the regulator bolt before you remove it and put it back in the same position on the new regulator. I missed this adjustment and was struggling to seal the window properly by adjusting just the stoppers.
Hope this helps others avoid going through the same hassle.
