The rear bolt on my driver side door handle is missing. the rear track for the window is just barely in the way.

Has anyone ever removed their door handle without talking the glass out ?

yes just put the window up all the way it all the way up.................its two 10mm bolt that hold it in or in your case 1.

 

It wasnt that easy. The lh window track was blocking the rear bolt..well, about 1/2 of it.. The bolt had dropped off into the door . Because this bolt was missing, the outside handle pulled out a bit and wouldnt open the door. I had to use a telescopic magnet to put the bolt back in. Unfortunately it was stripped but hopefully the jbweld will hold... Im so glad i dont have to remove the actuator since it looks like theres no way to do that w/o removing that track.
