Is the AC filter the cabin air filter too?
2001 ES 300.
In the manual it only lists the AC filter which is under the carpet, drivers side, to the right of the gas pedal. I pulled it out (there is actually two as one slides out and then you pull the 2nd one down from the top) and it was filthy.
I went to Amsoil and ordered a Wix cabin filter for my car, it was the only thing listed there on the Amsoil site. I was wondering if that's going to be it or what? Is the cabin filter seperate somewhere? I wouldn't think so but just want to double check.
Also, this thing was a ***** to put back in, I don't think I put it back in properly but I give up.

Also one more question, when putting in the top one, do I just slide it up and leave it tilted, then put the bottom one in? I had a really tough time putting the bottom one in and it never actually went in all the way, nor could I get the plastic cover with the clips fully closed. Did a half assed job as I am going to do it again in a week or two when my Wix filter comes in.
