Last week I took the car to a small shop for an oil change. They said the battery contacts were corroding and the battery was leaking acid so they replaced the contacts and the battery. Now the car no longer beeps when locking (one beep) and unlocking (two beeps). Actually, in the garage, I can faintly hear it beeps twice when I try the unlock so either the speaker that emitts the beeps is broken or there is a power issue (to amplify the beeps). Can anyone point me to a direction to where I can check connections for this? Thanks for your help!

Did you check the beep volume **** to see if its turned up high enough?

Yeah, I bet it's ur volume control got turned down. I think it's to the right of the steering column, if I'm not mistaken.

lol. yeah, its under the steering wheel, not directly, but its in the vicinity of under the steering wheel, its a little round dial.
