Welcome to Clublexus. I'm gonna move to the ES forums and change your title to give you more help.
Check out www.seloc.net for your local Georgia Lexus club.
The ES 300 is the most reliable car in it's class. WIth 130k miles, make sure all maintenace was done especially oil changes.
My 1992 ES 300 has 203,000 miles and still going strong. And I've drive the car very hard (not anymore).
Try using the SEARCH button, or Lexus.com for their old articles.

Agreed
1SICKLEX is correct about oil changes. They are critical for this engine. ( 3.0L V6 ) . You also want to make sure the timing belt is replaced.

Pole Position
what year is the Lexus your looking at? 130,000 miles is nothing for a Lexus, if it was well taken care of. Things to go on the 92-96 Es 300's are usually the motor mounts, power steering pump, and make sure the timing belt was done on the car. Also more then likely there will be a couple of bulbs out on the gauge cluster. Es 300's are great cars, never die no matter what you do to them. Since I am assuming your around 16-18 years old why not get a Carmy? Save yourself a couple thousand dollars and get a V-6 Camry. Same thing as a Es 300, just not as luxurious.

I've driven both a '95 V6 Camry and a '94 ES300 and they are totally different cars imo. The Camry is faster off the line but if you want more luxury then the ES300 is much better. Depends on how you drive too. If you want a faster more responsive car, then a V6 Camry is worth taking a look at. If you want more luxury and quietness at the cost of a little responsiveness then the ES300 is the way to go.
If I had to choose I'd take the ES300 as I like the more luxurious ride than the Camry. And hey it is a Lexus too~
