Default I love my ES 300

I recently purchased a 2000 ES 300 from Florida (June). I previously had a 1997 model (back in 2001) and loved it, but had to sell it. Please don't ask why. Now that I have this one I love it. It is so comfortable and drives great. I bought it with aprox 42,000 original miles on it (Carfax verified). I had to drive it home to Mississippi so now, fast forward, it has almost 45,000 on it. Since it is an older model there are things I notice and want to ask about. I hope by being a member of this forum, I might get some insight and good advice.

Congratulations on picking up such a low mile example. Being a Florida car, I imagine there is no rust to worry about. How is the condition of the paint and interior?

Welcome to the club!

You will get tons of advice here. It always pleases me to see people heed our advice and do many repairs on the cars themselves.

Interior is spotless and smells like it's brand new. Exterior is also in great shape with very minor nicks near door. However, recently some jerk opened his door near mine and left a small nick. I try to park away from the crowd.
