Interesting Altima 1/4 mile performanc... 13 seconds
And... it is an all motor 4 cylinder
13.97 @ 97.64mph, 1.973 60ft.
This is a well executed, WELL DRIVEN car. The times are using slicks but from what I can tell the car has an open differential. It is running a GTi-R tranny (fwd cars have diffs integral with trannys) so it may have limited slip... I don't know.
I found this most interesting because his best time on street radials (not drag radials) is 14.42 @ 97.37mph, 2.226 60ft.
So, with sticky tires his sixty foot dropped 0.253 seconds and his 1/4 mile dropped 0.472 seconds... that my friends is a BUNCH. Personally I like this because this is realistically what my car could do with sticky tires as my 14.22 came with a 2.21 60ft. Using his VERY similar 60ft improvement... take 0.47 seconds off of my 14.22 and you get... 13.75 seconds at right at 100mph. Not too bad for 4000lbs of car with a single (under) 2 inch pipe exhaust
He runs a single 2.25" pipe off his header. This supports my many recommendations that 2.50" duals are way to big for even our VVTi engine let alone 1st gen 1UZFE cars (4 liter V8 Lexus engines for those unfamiliar with the engine code).
Here is a link to his car, mods, and time slip.
