My baby just hit 60k Miles!
So my car just barely hit 60k miles today.
I drive a 2006 IS250 and I got her in September of 2011.
I purchased her CPO with 44k miles on the clock. Did my oil changes and filter changes on time and she is still as lovely as the first time I saw her, except more beautiful than ever!
Never had a problem, other than the few times I experienced the carbon build up issues at a stop light. I want to get that fixed but I'm only 19 and they won't lend me a loaners car so I can't afford to live without a vehicle for however long they take.
Anyhow, I am getting my services done, such as spark plugs, oil and filter changed at Tommy @ musicbox. He is the man to go to for these stuff.
I just bought my stuff from sewell and hopefully they come soon, I shoulda bought them last week but I was in a hectic schedule.
I contacted Jimmy at Longo Lexus about bleeding the brakes and I'm getting charged 121$ but I also got the 50$ certificate from Longo which I can use so that's gonna be 71$ for bleeding brakes.
Where did you guys go to do your services for 60k miles?
Only thing I dislike about my car at the moment is the driver seat. I get in and out carefully but it was from previous owners that didn't care so much so the seat side cushion is cracking
Hope to find an upholdstry shop around the area soon to get my interior re-done!
Yeah, this is a pointless thread

Brake bleeding is one of those DIY PITA's since it takes a person to pump the pedal. I haven't been interested enough (Read that as penny pinchy) to try one of those pressurized bleeder devices because this is a task done typically at 60K intervals.
Might as well throw up a pic of your ride so we have something to look at.

I got my 60k service done at Longo Lexus (My SA was Jimmy too). Got the spark plugs replaced for parts cost only (labor was free since they changed it during the carbon build up piston replacement), paid filter + labor only for the oil change (always bring in my own oil), changed both filters my self (so easy) and then used a $50 certificate as well for the brake flush (and it came out to like $80 only total for that).

I hear a lot about this Jimmy Too guy at Longo. Is he the service advisor everyone goes to if they go to Longo? I go to Jennifer Nam, but maybe I should go to Jimmy next time I take my car there...

Yeah Jimmy is definitely the SA to go to when you go to Longo, and also the best dealership around with no doubt.
I'm getting my 60k care package from sewell on Friday but I'll be at vegas for my sisters 21st birthday so won't be able to get anything done till next week.
Having a small photoshoot with my brothers e93 for fun, and ill add some pictures to this post!
