California Does not allow 12 hour traffic school after
So after July 1, California will not allow a 12 hour traffic school.
I got my ticket In May and My court date is on July 11, does that mean I cannot get the 12 hour traffic school? I tried looking, but no luck, does anyone have insight on this?
Any help would be helpful, Its for a speeding ticket too, the cop kind of wrote the wrong license number? but I am sure that wont affect anything, cause I got the citation in the mail.

If he wrote the wrong license plate number, I think you can fight it.
Logical arguments would be : "If you can't even take down the correct license number, what allows you to make the judgement that I was speeding?"
Of course, this would maybe make you win the case but I am sure the officer will follow you until you slipped up and unleash his wrath.

But basically, you wont be able to go to traffic school twice in a 18 month period anymore. You can still go once every 18 months, but the second offense 12 hour traffic school is gone.
You should still be able to go to traffic school, since the date they use is usually the date you got the ticket. For the 18 month rule its the same thing, its 18 months since you actually got pulled over, not 18 months since your last traffic school or 18 months since proven guilty.
