TMC Trademarks Lexus "RC F"

Well it's obviously based on the IS because it looks just like the IS sedan, minus two doors. Hmm I don't like the name change though, if that truly will be the name they use. IS for the sedan, ISC for the coupe, ISC-C for the convertible and ISF for the this black Beast pictured here. Those names would suffice. BMW is getting rid of the 3series name and changing it to 4series which will have it's own variations. The name RC for an obvious IS is just silly and it sure does remind me of a cheap cola(RC cola) and/or a Remote Control toy car. Silly name if Lexus names it that.

Ooooic. Well the other half of my reply still stands hahaha The acronym RC is not going to win people over, if i'm not mistaken. Its already a Lexus, which is a Toyota, and Toyota has "Toy" in it and apparently a lot of American and Euro enthusiast already poke fun at Japanese cars as being too "Racer Boy".....So RC is a bad choice for a name. Remote Controlled Toy-ota/Lexus. Boo for RC

IMHO, to even be considered for the title of "M3 killer" the following is critical:
RWHP: >380
Optional 6sp manual
Curb weight of no more than 3600lbs (3300lbs preferred)
Fall short of those and get in the back of the line, before we've even started the conversation of handling and braking (no point to even go there if you fail on the first three items above).

That's baloney. They're only sharing certain technology for fuel cells and a possible joint venture on a sports car. The M4 isn't a sports car, neither is the IS-F.

Yes, it does. M3 coupes are around 3500lbs, give or take; many mags are quoting the wrong numbers. There's a reason the DCT M3s can run 111-112mph traps bone stock.
