The ACV isn't the price. It goes up for auction in a couple of days. It might sell very cheaply or it might sell for more. Hard to say. I'll be checking on it. If it sells for less than $250k I'll be shocked and dismayed.

Car looks amazing, but I just never thought that a porsche should be worth that much money.

Wouldn't buy a rebuilt car off of IAAI or Copart. I buy and repair in my spare time. Trust me on this one, they reason its on IAAI or on Copart is because it was poorly rebuilt, or not finished. This car could be an electrical mess, you would be surprised how clever some body shops are at masking problems. The only way I would buy a salvage car for myself is buying it busted and repairing it my self (which I have done many times) or buying off of Manheim. The great this about Manheim is if you can prove the car was not repaired properly you can return it.

I had a friend who had a rebuilt car. It was never a problem until he traded it in. At the last minute when the deal was all said and done, the dealer said "oh, we just found out your car was a rebuild and in an accident, therefore we can't give the top dollar you want"....

If it were a theft recovery salvage I might think about it. If it were a wreck/fire/flood salvage....NO WAY.

As a prior poster has said, I'd buy one that's not been repaired from them..as the ones there were rejected by the owner.

I owned a rebuilt title 07 Mazda 3....just 2 minor issues I fixed myself....it was a great car. Bought for $8000 cash...drove it for 2 years & 23000 miles and sold it for $8000 cash.

I be a little afraid to spend a lot of $$$ on a rebuilt title car tho.

That car had prior rear suspension and body damage, bags deployed, etc. I remember seeing it about 6 months ago on another site unrepaired. Given the costs to repair these cars, I'd steer away from it. CGT's are starting to come down in price so if you have the liquid cash to purchase one, I'd wait for a non-salvage branded vehicle.
