Next Generation Corolla
#184
Auris - Euro Corolla Hatch, is going to get revealed next month, but we already have all the pics (poor ones but still pics).
Corolla, sometimes next year probably... and probably will be a bit late to USA.

I am 27 years old American male. I had a 2011 Corolla just a few months ago but I gave it up for a Mustang. A defining characteristic of the Corolla is that it does not "wow" initially. Rather the more you drive it, the more it impresses you as a daily driver.
What I loved:
1. Storage! I kept a stash of Monster Energy drinks in the door cubby along with a foldaway umbrella. I kept CDs and my ipod in the top shelf glove box and my documents in the lower glove box. There were two cup holders that accomodate fast food cups. There was a cubby under the stereo for my cell phone.
2. Comfort! The Corolla was quiet and well insulated from the road's less refined surfaces. Driving it was like sitting in a big comfy chair.
3. Headroom! I am 6'1".
4. Steering wheel design. I loved the thickness of the steering wheel and its size. It fit perfectly in my hands and was a pleasure to look at.
5. Visibility. It was like a fish-bowl on wheels. You could easily see 360 degrees around you, which made for a safe drive.
Things I hated (why I had to get rid of it):
1. The grill. The 2011 Corolla grill was ugly. I could not stand looking at it.
2. The tail lights. Again, ugly!
Bottom line: I bought it because I had a Corolla as a teenager and I have a special place in my heart for Corollas. The 2011 interior was top notch but the exterior made me want to vomit.
