I purchased one of these that I will be installing in the next few weeks. Collins recommended it, will report once I've been able to try it out.

If someone can figure out a better shifter setup, that would be phenominal. Right now that is the #1 area for improvement in my opinion. I can live with my setup, but it would be huge if there was a better solution.

Maybe on an sc400, but on an sc300 it sits even further back so you end up with a strange shifter setup with a long throw that requires the bezel to be modified.

That's sick man, quick question I don't know if it's been answered or not. What did you do with Trac and Heated Seat switches?

clutch sr20 and vq35de

pressure plate ive seen 3s-gte/mr2 tuebo or scion TC witch has had 2 deifferent engiens the 2ar-fe and the 2az-fe.

so i was hoping to clear the mud and what flywheel what clutch what pressure plate. for both 1uz and 1/2jz swap. most people dont want to read tho 100 pages of swaps with 1j 2j 1uz all mixed together with different setups thats all. im also planing a 1uz cd009 tt setup.

I am 2jz. Right now the two options I know of for the 2jz application are:

1) Collins custom flywheel and clutch setup, designed to just be a bolt on solution. He has a few different stages he offers depending on your HP goals. Requires the bell housing to be milled.

2) Collins flywheel adapter. Bolts to 2jz crank and converts the bolt pattern to a 350z flywheel, so any off the shelf 350z flywheel and clutch setup to be used. Requires a stock auto flex plate to be used as well for starter engagement. Does not require milling of the bell housing.

Hi All,

I just read up on this thread and I would like to add my input. Please feel free to review it, revise it, etc.

This is a running Bill of Materials needed for a CD008 or CD009 6 speed from z33 350z to 1uz sc400.
-CD009 Z33 Trans from 2005+ 350z/g35 $600-$1000
Keep factory engine/bellhousing mounting bolts!

-Collins trans adapter $300
http://collinsadapters.com/index.php...ter-plate.html

Collins trans mount $175
http://collinsadapters.com/index.php...and-mount.html

Collins pilot bearing adaptor $55
http://collinsadapters.com/index.php...g-adapter.html

Collins Clutch Release Bearing adapter $105

Collins 1 piece driveline using slip yoke from nissan titan 4x2, 1350 u joints and 4 bolt flange/saddle $450

Collins Driveshaft to diff adapter $145

Collins Tilton and PowerTrain components Twin disc clutch w/ ARP hardware $1085

Use factory Toyota Auto flex plate

New Toyota pedal assemblies, includes MC and res $469
http://www.driftmotion.com/SC300-SC4...t-p/dm1694.htm

Lexus OEM 5 speed shift console $60
http://www.luxurymods.com/sc300shiftboot.aspx
350z Nissan slave cylinder

SS clutch line $40
What length? What ends?

Speedometer Pickup:
Dakota Digital Speed Interface
SGI-5 ? $85
-------OR---------
Speed Healer

-Redline MT-85 fluid

SC430 Diff 3.27 Ratio

So you can definitely get it all done for under $4,000 including shipping/freight and odds/ends/bits/bobs/etc.
I would say closer to $3500, maybe $3000 depending on the price of the transmission/slave/shifter/

I know i'm bringing this thread back from the dead and I apologize but how are you guys running the Speedo? I'm really confused with this. The 350z trans does not have a speed sensor right? I was told the speed sensor is located on the diff on 350z please correct me if i'm wrong. I'm trying to get my car's speedo to work again
